CoffeBerryCoffeBerry™ is absolutely new, completely natural product,the only product on the basis of the whole fruit of the coffee plant. Obtained by a special, patent protected method of processing whole, ripe coffee beans. COFFEBERRY™ EFFECT

Scientific research suggests the polyphenols and phenolic acids (ferulic acid, chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid) offering many specific benefIts  and neutralize free radicals and provide protection from oxidative stress. Polyphenols and phenolic acids reduce glucose levels and provide health benefites associated with glucose management, type 2 diabetes and Metabolic Syndrome, increase the uptake  of glucose into muscle cells, decrease glucose transport from the small intestine into the bloodstream, inhibit  glucose production in hepatic  cells, and reduce glycogenesis. Phenolic acids reduce the level of  cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood and prevent oxidation of low density lipoprotein (LDL) , i.e. oxidised  low density lipoprotein, which is thought to  to play the major role in atherosclerosis. COFFEBERRY™ STUDIES

Clinical studies, which were done in the Institute of Endocrynology, Diabetes and Metabolism Diseases in Belegrade, managed by Prof dr sci med Dragan Micić, showed that Coffeeberry™  caps, from the statistic point of view, significantly reduce the total sugar level in blood, (about 17%),  glucosed hemoglobine - HbA1c, (reduced from 7,8 to 6,7 units) as well as the level of LDL cholesterol.
In the first study, Coffeeberry™ caps were given to 10 patients for 2 months, daily dose was  3x1 cap of 400mg, and in the second study, with 20 patients for  6 months, daily dose was 3x1 cap of 400mg. All these patients had a diabetes type 2 and were treated with metamorphine or a treatment with a combination of medicines on the basis of sulphonilure. In the first study, HbA1c was tested before and after the treatment with Coffeeberry™ caps, and in the second study, HbA1c, lipide level, liver and kidney function  were tested before the treatment, after three and after six months. Phenolic acids have a very striking hepatoprotective effect. Results of the above mentioned clinical studies, positively confirm that Coffeeberry™  caps significantly improve parameters which show liver function (ALT,AST and gamma GT). Clinical researches done with Sylamarine (which is recommended as additional teraphy for liver function improvement ), had no positive results (Journal of Hepatology,1998, 28,115-121).

Clinical study, carried out in Belegrade, in the Academy for Sport, managed by prof.dr S.Ostojić  confirmed that Coffeeberry™  caps are very powerful antioxidant with a strong protective effect. Recovery of the examined athletes was significantly advanced after four weeks of Coffeeberry™  caps intake, as a consequence of improved neutralisation of metabolism acid products and efficient free radicals neutralisation. After intensive anaerobe  training  with the athletes who used  Coffeeberry™  caps,  faster lowering of the cardio frequency in the first minute of the recovery was shown (which is a reliable indicator of the reduced stress of cardiovascular and muscular system after straining), 20% lower amount of lactat accumulation (acid products of anaerobe metabolism), as well as significant recovery after training.
